Light Strands is a story of the struggles of a young woman as she comes to terms with some of the harsh realities of life after school.

She is forced to take a closer look at herself to find the answers to the questions tuggling at her heart.

Light Strands was directed and co-written by Somto Onubogu. Norah Muoh was the co-writer and Esther Eriyo, the character animator.

This film took over a year to produce as we had to do it alongside client projects in the midst of a global pandemic. It was also made tricky by the fact that we had to change our production pipeline to enable better collaboration.
